So, here’s a little about us….

First and foremost, we are neither a firm of solicitors nor a charity based advice beareux.

We certainly don’t offer corny gimmicky based ‘no win no fee’ packages. We couldn’t be further away from that area of the industry!

Having worked around and within small businesses for 15 years, we have experienced the unwanted and unpleasant nature of being owed money. Equally we’ve seen many individuals and businesses ruined as a result of poor workmanship, poor service and unwarranted claims often stemming from lack of knowledge or simply fear of facing the long winded and scary legal process.

The man behind the scenes and yet very much at the forefront of the business is myself, Ross Young.  As a loyal and devoted father I have also been through the very tiring and potentially very expensive family court process and experienced the angst and upset that this path can create for all parties concerned. We do understand that often these paths are simply unavoidable….however we can help to relieve the pressure and save you extra costs.

It was in one of the aforementioned courts that the lightbulb flickered and the creation of Spot Legal Services came to fruition. Having already spent £7,500 in solicitors costs and a further £15,000 being quoted to me just to find a ‘potential’ legal resolve, I decided enough was enough and represented myself via the new business idea.

Many of you may be more than confident in representing yourself in any aforementioned claims or procedures. Many of you may not have the financial concerns of others and would prefer to use a qualified solicitor. We are not here to judge or categorise your preferences; we are simply here to offer a unique option to those who don’t fall in either of those brackets. Or perhaps you would normally do so but wish to relieve some personal and financial strain by trying out an alternative.

Having researched the industry, we’ve not found any business offering such a unique range services such as us. We do therefore feel well placed to support you and we will be up front and 100% honest about whether we feel we can meet your needs. Although we have consultants and office staff, you can feel assured and at ease knowing that I will be the primary contact and offering this personal level of attention will help you in times of worry and concern.
